Princess Rose is excited at the prospect of winning her tenth annual flower show. Despite her best gardening efforts however, this year her flowers wilt. Will the flowers learn the social skills they need to thrive and win the annual flower show?
Bluebell has difficulty making friends because she feels different. Gerebera has difficulty accepting that other flowers can be different. Sunflower must learn to be assertive. Sunflower must also exercise her responsibility as a bystander when Bluebell is being bullied.
With the help of Bumbus the Bumblebee and the children in the audience, the flowers learn the social skills they need to thrive and win the annual flower show.
Social skills covered in the play include; Making Friends, Assertiveness, Inclusion, Acceptance of Differences, Not Tolerating Bullying.
Artistic Presentation ‘The Princess and Her Garden' has been developed with great care and attention to detail. Presentation includes a brightly coloured set, fairytale costumes, oversized puppets, lively dances, catchy songs and humorous antics.
